December 3, 2009 - After more than two years offline, I have decided to revamp my Home Site. Today, the first three pages (Home, About me, Physics) go online with new and updated content. The remaining three pages (Mac & more, Games, Photos) and the Italian version of the website will be online at a later stage. Enjoy!
July 29, 2006 - I added the pictures of my journey to India, and of the two ``versions'' (Italian and Indian) of the wedding of my friends Eleonora and Sujay, to the Photo page. I also made the first update to theV:TES Deck of the month in ages (sorry, I don't get much time for playing V:TES and designing decks these days).
February 17, 2006 - The Photo page now features pictures from the salsa/rueda demonstration that our salsa class did at the Swansea Latin-American festival last weekend. I also removed password protection from photo albums.
January 30, 2006 - Installing LaTeX on the Mac has become even easier, and I updated the instructions on my Mac page accordingly. I also posted the first V:TES Deck of 2006.
December 12, 2005 - It took more than a month, but all sections of my home site are online again. All pages have been updated, and the main news is that there is now a Photo page! Among other things, I updated my profile on the About me page, added some lines about my recent research on the Physics page, revised the list of favorite apps on the Mac page, posted descriptions of new boardgames and a new V:TES deck on the Games page, and added entries to the Links page (such as links to some physics blogs). Take a look, and contact me for any comments or suggestions!
November 4, 2005 - Last Sunday I moved to Swansea, Wales, United Kingdom... and today my home site moved as well. All sections of the site are currently under revision, so I momentarily removed most of the links on this page. I hope to have a thoroughly renovated home site online soon!

October 15, 2004 - The pictures I took last weekend at the Dutch V:TES European Qualifier, which I added to the site few days ago, are now correctly linked. I also made minor modifications to the Downloads page, and updated some of the downloadable files. Notice that for the first time some older news disappeared from this page, which finally makes the site news archive somewhat useful.
October 8, 2004 - Waiting to find the time for a bigger update, in the meanwhile I posted the pictures I took at the North-American Championship of V:TES held in Indianapolis last August.
July 21, 2004 - I have been travelling quite a lot recently, so I haven't had much time for updating the site... I made minor tweaks to the About Me and Physics pages (due to the end of the spring term and of my teaching duties) and I posted on the games page the V:TES Deck for the three months of summer.
May 31, 2004 - With some delay, I posted May's V:TES Deck, and added a page for the pictures taken at the V:TES German Championship held in Essen on April 25. Maybe this is the first step towards adding a photo section to the site...
April 20, 2004 - I have updated the links page, adding, among other things, a link to the new String Theory newsgroup. Also posted April's V:TES Deck.
March 20, 2004 - March's V:TES Deck is up on the games page.
February 10, 2004 - Since last week, I have assisted in giving the working classes of Gerard 't Hooft's string theory course, so I added a note about this in the About Me and Physics pages. Also posted February's V:TES Deck on the games page.
January 20, 2004 - Added HandBrake to the list of my favorite Mac applications. Posted January's V:TES Deck on the games page.
December 15, 2003 - My website is up and running! It was initially intended as a small Home Page, but it rapidly and uncontrollably overgrew, hence the name Home Site. Enjoy surfing! Every suggestion on how to improve this site is very welcome, as well as any report of errors or of wrong behavior of this site on different browsers or platforms (I had a really hard time with Mozilla, in which the same page may look different just by reloading it!).
